Apply to be a ÜENV Youth Delegate during the opening of KESKUS in Toronto, Canada!

Every day is full of exciting work and experiences, and every evening is a blast!

• Practical details: The ÜENV Youth Delegate Program at the KESKUS opening is open to up to 8 youth delegates plus 2 leaders (NB! Up to 2 youth delegates may arrive on August 16 in conjunction with the U.S. Girl Scouts/Boy Scouts camp). ÜENV Youth Delegate recognition is an advantage when applying!
• Eligibility: Young people aged 18–35 (young, energetic, helpful, and interested in international affairs); responsible for their actions both ethically and financially; willing to contribute to the success of the KESKUS opening celebrations, as a KESKUS ambassador, in building its dignified image and reputation; fluent in Estonian and English.
• Deadline: April 12, 2026! Zoom interviews will take place during the week of April 20, and decisions will be made by May 1.

The responsibility of the ÜENV youth delegate is to serve as a guide during the opening of KESKUS and to be on hand for shifts of up to 8 hours each day, taking guests on tours of KESKUS, assisting with tickets and other festival-related issues that guests may need to resolve, and serving as the face of KESKUS during the festivities. 

The Delegate’s responsibilities culminate in the Youth Congress on August 23, which the youth delegates will promote to other young people throughout the week and help generate interest in, including at the Youth Gala KESKfEST on August 21.

KESKUS provides round-trip airfare, 9 nights’ accommodation in downtown Toronto, a delegate uniform (T-shirt), tours of Toronto and the KESKUS project, and media training!
