Why wasn’t my event published?

There are a few possible reasons why your event was not published.

Global Estonian focuses on events that are relevant to Estonians living abroad. We generally don’t publish events that take place in Estonia, unless they are of special significance — for example, the Song and Dance Celebration (Laulu- ja tantsupidu).

Your event may also not have been published if:

• It didn’t include enough information (e.g. date, website, or description), or the details were unclear.
• It was a duplicate or very similar to an existing post.
• It didn’t align with our editorial focus on the global Estonian community.

Please note that the fastest and most reliable way to publish your event is by submitting it directly through the portal. This ensures all required fields are completed and allows our team to review it efficiently.
