Nearly 30000 gathered for demonstration in support of Ukraine

Tens of thousands of people gathered in central Tallinn on Saturday afternoon to express solidarity with Ukraine and call for Russia to halt its invasion.

The event took place at Freedom Square but spilled over into nearby streets and onto the hill behind the victory monument.

At its peak, the Police and Border Guard Board estimated 30,000 people were in attendance.
