Virtual Forum for global Estonians being held on May 5th
A virtual forum for Estonians across the globe is being held on Thursday 5 May at 16.00 Estonian time (UTC/GMT +3)
You can watch and think along with the virtual forum of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs via the Worksup environment from any location in the world with a working internet connection. The forum will have simultaneous interpretation into English and Russian and there is a Q&A session.
This time, the forum will have two panels. The first panel will look at the impact of Europe’s changed security situation on Estonia and whether Estonia is defended. The second panel will discuss Estonia’s e-state services. What are its uses for Estonians abroad and do people know and use these options sufficiently?
The forum is opened by Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets and President Kersti Kaljulaid will give a speech. Music is provided by singer and composer Mari Kalkun.
The virtual forum is moderated by Silver Tambur, cofounder and editor-in-chief of the online publication Estonian World.
Let’s exchange thoughts about Estonians across the globe once again and see where they take us!
