The BES board of directors invite our members, their families and friends to our annual jõulupidu (Christmas banquet). The program includes verivorst ja happukapsad (traditional blood sausage & sauerkraut Christmas meal), some rahvatants (traditional Estonian dancing), a performance by Boston Estonian School students and, of course, a Christmas raffle. It is also rumored that jõuluvana (Santa Claus) promised to visit, regardless of whether it is snowing or not!
This year we are asking that all parents bring a gift for their child or children to put into Santa Claus' bag, whether they attend Estonian school or not. We hope that in this way each child will receive an appropriate and appreciated gift.
Though food is included with admission please bring your own alcoholic beverages!
