Rahel Talts Quartet kontsert Berliinis!

Rahel Talts Quartet is a group that plays Estonian pianist Rahel's original music. The band's music could mainly be described as energetic, acoustic, melodic jazz which has a lot of influences from old traditional jazz and bebop, but it also has a touch of catchy, beautiful melodies, interesting, thought-through harmonies and some exciting, different rhythmic layers, which make the music more modern and unique.
The group consists of Mariusz Praśniewski (Poland) on bass, Jesper Lørup Christensen (Denmark) on drums, Donatas Petreikis (Lithuania) on saxophone and Rahel Talts (Estonia) on piano.
They started playing as a trio at first, which was great, but after adding a saxophone beautiful color to the group, they did not want to continue as just a trio anymore, so they became a quartet. They have played tours and concerts in Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and more concerts are to come at the festivals and jazz clubs in France, Asia, Estonia, Germany, Denmark and Lithuania in 2024.

Recently, in November of 2025, they released an album called "Back and Forth" which featured an award-winning UK guitarist Rob Luft.
